I have kids today who will tell me they shoot 500 to a 1000 shots a day. I ask them how many shots did they make from certain spots on the floor and they can't tell me. It is very important to know your numbers. You need to measure yourself against yourself. To measure is to know your numbers.

If you take 50 shots from the free throw line and you consistently make 40 of them then you can say I shoot 80% from the free throw line instead of just saying I shot 50 free throws. Do the same with dribbling drills such as crossovers. Count the crossovers done correctly and remember how many you did correctly. Remember elite players know there numbers. MEASURE EVERYTHING!
