Another official visit has been scheduled by Tre Johnson, the top-ranked shooting guard in the class of 2024 for high school boys basketball in the United States. Johnson has decided to pay another visit to the University of Texas, where he will have the opportunity to meet the new head coach, Rodney Terry. The visit is planned to take place from Sunday, August 27 until Tuesday, August 29, as reported by Gerry Hamilton from Inside Texas.

Johnson's initial visit to Texas occurred when Chris Beard was still in charge as the head coach. However, Beard has since moved on to become the head coach at Ole Miss.

Recently, Johnson made an announcement regarding his decision to transfer to Link Academy, a renowned basketball powerhouse located in Missouri, for his final year of high school. This comes after his outstanding performance in leading Lake Highlands to victory in the UIL Class 6A Texas state championship held in March.
