East Kentwood High School junior Randy Chapman has made his college decision. The Class of 2026 guard has committed to Saginaw Valley State University, becoming one of the program’s earliest pledges for their 2026 recruiting class.

The 6’2” guard averaged 16 points per game as a junior while showing strong leadership on the floor. Over the summer, he competed with the Grand Rapids Storm, continuing to showcase his consistent scoring and court vision.

Chapman brings a high motor, toughness, and a well-rounded skill set that fits perfectly into SVSU’s system. His ability to create shots, pressure the ball defensively, and lead with poise makes him a strong addition to the next-level roster.
