UCLA Basketball continues to push forward in the modern era of college athletics with the hiring of Max Feldman as the program’s new Assistant General Manager. Feldman will operate under Head Coach Mick Cronin and brings a forward-thinking approach to roster building and program strategy.
Feldman spent the last two years as the Director of Scouting at MADE Hoops, one of the nation’s most respected grassroots basketball platforms. His ability to identify talent, build relationships, and understand the evolving landscape of college hoops makes him a valuable addition to the Bruins.
In his new role, Feldman will be responsible for:
-
Roster construction and talent evaluation
-
Navigating the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) landscape
-
Managing transfer portal operations
-
Coordinating agent and stakeholder relations
This hire reflects a broader trend in college basketball—programs are now embracing a more front-office style approach, similar to what’s seen in the NBA. With Max Feldman’s experience and insights, UCLA is positioning itself as a leader in adapting to the new rules of engagement in college basketball.
Stay tuned as the Bruins continue to evolve and build a roster ready to compete at the highest level.
