The 21st edition of the Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Africa camp will take place in Kigali, Rwanda, from August 23–26, 2025, marking the first time the event will be hosted in East Africa.

๐ŸŒ Africa’s Top Rising Talent

BWB Africa 2025 will bring together 60 of the continent’s best high-school-age boys and girls to train and compete at Petit Stade. Players will receive elite coaching and mentorship directly from NBA, WNBA, and FIBA players, legends, and coaches.

๐Ÿ€ More Than Basketball

The camp goes beyond on-court skills. Campers will also take part in:

  • Life-skills workshops

  • Leadership development sessions

  • Social responsibility programming

These lessons prepare participants to lead on and off the court.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ผ Rwanda on the Rise

Rwanda’s growing basketball profile has made it a natural host. The country has recently staged:

  • The FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026 Pre-Qualifying Tournament

  • The FIBA U16 AfroBasket tournaments

Now, by hosting BWB Africa 2025, Rwanda continues to strengthen its role as a hub for African basketball.

๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Powered by Nike

Nike will outfit participants with apparel and footwear, continuing its long-time support of youth basketball development through BWB.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Proven Pathway to the Pros

Since its launch in 2001, BWB has impacted over 4,600 participants from 144 countries and territories. More than 140 former campers have gone on to be drafted or signed in the NBA and WNBA, proving its role as a global development pipeline.
