Chris Pohl, One of Wisconsin’s Top 2026 Prospects, Commits to Wyoming
09/29/2025

One of the premier talents in Wisconsin’s 2026 class is officially off the board.
Chris Pohl, a versatile 6’7” forward from Marshfield High School and a standout with the Wisconsin Playmakers, has announced his commitment to the University of Wyoming.
Pohl has built a strong reputation across the Midwest with his blend of size, mobility, and skill. At 6-foot-7, he brings the frame and athleticism that translates well to the Division I level. His ability to stretch the floor, score around the basket, and defend multiple positions makes him one of the more complete forwards in his class.
During his time with Marshfield and the Playmakers program, Pohl has demonstrated consistent growth, adding strength to his game while expanding his offensive arsenal. College coaches took notice not only of his physical tools but also his work ethic, motor, and willingness to compete on both ends of the floor.
Wyoming is adding a high-upside prospect who fits their system and can make an impact early in his college career. For Pohl, this commitment marks the culmination of years of development and dedication — and the next step in a promising basketball journey.
Elite Hoops Spotlight will continue to track Chris Pohl’s progress as he takes his game to the Mountain West.
