Georgia Tech Lands Third Class of 2026 Commitment in Four-Star Guard Kaiden Bailey
09/29/2025

Damon Stoudamire and Georgia Tech have landed their third commitment in the 2026 class with the pledge of Kaiden Bailey, a four-star guard from California. He joins Jalan Wingfield and Moustapha Diop in shaping a strong early core for the Yellow Jackets’ recruiting cycle.
Player Profile & Recruitment
-
Bailey is a 6′2″ combo guard from Irvine, California (Santa Margarita Catholic).
-
He is ranked as a top-120 player nationally in the 2026 class.
-
Bailey noted that Georgia Tech’s belief in him and the strong bond with the coaching staff made the program the right fit.
-
Prior to committing, he took an official visit to campus and considered multiple high-major offers before choosing the Jackets.
Scouting Take & Outlook
Bailey is known for his perimeter shooting and ability to play both on the ball and off the ball. He has a quick release, good mechanics, and thrives as a floor-spacer. He’s also developing as a playmaker who can help run the offense when needed. Defensively, he leans on instincts, strength, and positioning.
Areas to improve include finishing through contact, sharpening his ball handling under pressure, and maintaining consistency in his shot selection. With refinement, Bailey has the tools to be an impact guard in the ACC.
Fit at Georgia Tech & Bigger Picture
This commitment strengthens Georgia Tech’s class balance — adding a talented backcourt scorer to complement frontcourt commits Wingfield and Diop. With three solid pledges already, the Jackets’ 2026 class is shaping up to be one of their strongest in recent memory.
Congratulations to Kaiden Bailey — Elite Hoops Spotlight will follow his journey as he takes his talents to Atlanta.
