A Modern Powerhouse

Link Academy (Branson, MO) is entering its fifth season as a high school basketball program — and it has wasted no time establishing itself as a national powerhouse. Since bursting onto the scene, the Lions have remained a fixture in every major ranking, known for elite talent, NBA-level structure, and relentless competitiveness.

It wasn’t too long ago that Link captured the 2023 national championship, and the program once again looks primed to compete for another crown in the 2025-2026 high school season.

Experienced Core Returns

The foundation starts with two familiar names — 2026 Keynote Graybear and 2026 Trent Perry — both returning from last season’s squad.

  • Graybear provides size, rebounding, and steady paint presence.

  • Perry, one of the top guards in his class, offers leadership, shot creation, and elite composure in high-pressure moments.

Their experience anchors a team full of new faces eager to contribute to Link’s championship standard.

Newcomers Bring Firepower

Head coach and staff have assembled a deep, balanced group of newcomers with versatility across the floor:

  • 2026 Ethan Taylor — Smooth two-way guard with scoring punch and perimeter range.

  • 2026 Tristian Reed — High-energy forward who can run the floor and defend multiple positions.

  • 2027 Cameron Barnes — Long, athletic big with rim-protection instincts and upside.

  • 2027 Davion Thompson — Dynamic backcourt prospect known for his pace and creativity.

  • 2026 Carlos Medlock Jr. — Confident scorer who adds depth to an already talented guard rotation.

Each addition fits Link’s signature blend of discipline and pace — a style that has translated into sustained dominance on the national stage.

The Standard Remains the Same

The expectations at Link Academy never change: national title or bust. With their combination of returning leadership, elite-level talent, and championship culture, this year’s Lions squad looks every bit capable of adding another trophy to the case in Branson.
