Cass Tech continued its strong start to the season, improving to 8–3 with a hard-fought 69–62 win over Detroit Denby (2–3), powered by a dominant all-around performance from Stevie Hall. Hall was sensational, pouring in 31 points while adding 6 assists and 6 steals, consistently setting the tone on both ends of the floor. His ability to score in transition, create for others, and disrupt passing lanes proved to be the difference as Cass Tech answered every Denby push with timely execution.

Ransom Thomas provided steady support with 13 points and 6 rebounds, controlling the glass and finishing through contact, while Zavier Scott and Sebastian Thrower each chipped in 10 points to give Cass Tech balanced scoring. Detroit Denby battled throughout and kept the game within reach, but Cass Tech’s defensive pressure and late-game composure sealed the win. With Hall leading the charge and contributions coming from multiple spots, Cass Tech showed both resilience and depth in another quality victory.
