School Days Basketball made a strong statement at the Storm Classic, winning the 17U Platinum bracket with a dominant run from start to finish.
Every win came by double digits, showing consistent control throughout the tournament. Along the way, they knocked off teams from both UAA and UA Rise, adding to the significance of the championship.
Trevon Johnson played a key role at point guard, averaging 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists for the weekend while leading SDF basketball to the title. In the championship game, he recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Darren Pope Jr was also recognized for his performance, earning All-Tournament Team honors from All Eyes On U Hoops. He helped lead the team to a 5-1 record and the Storm Classic Platinum championship.
School Days Basketball finished the weekend as 17U Platinum bracket champions.
SDF Storm Classic recap: the 17U group finished 5–1 and captured the Platinum Bracket championship, while the 16U team went 4–1 and reached the Platinum Bracket quarterfinals, and the 15U squad posted a 4–2 record as Gold Bracket runner-up. Overall, the program went 13–4.
