Kellen Paul is proving that consistency and efficiency can make a player one of the top young prospects to watch in Michigan's 2029 class.

The 6-foot-1 guard from Forest Hills Central put together an outstanding season on the Under Armour Next Circuit with Storm Basketball's 15U team. Over 19 games, Paul averaged 21.0 points per game, scoring 399 total points while shooting an impressive 46 percent from the field, 42 percent from beyond the arc, and 93 percent from the free-throw line. His 61.13 effective field goal percentage reflects just how efficient he was throughout the season.

Paul's impact extended beyond scoring. He averaged 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per contest while committing just 1.1 turnovers per game, showing the poise and decision-making expected from a lead guard. His ability to protect the basketball while producing offensively made him one of Storm Basketball's most dependable performers on the UAA circuit.

The Forest Hills Central standout also excels in the classroom, carrying a 4.0 GPA, and has already earned First Team OK-White honors. His development has not gone unnoticed, as he recently received an offer from Saginaw Valley State University.

What stands out most about Paul's game is his shot-making ability. He can stretch defenses with his perimeter shooting, score efficiently from all three levels, and consistently capitalize at the free-throw line. Those traits, combined with his basketball IQ and steady decision-making, make him a difficult matchup and a player who continues to trend upward.

As he enters the next stage of his development, Kellen Paul has established himself as one of the premier young guards in Michigan's 2029 class. If his progression continues at this pace, his recruiting profile is likely to grow as more college programs begin tracking his development.
