I had the privilege of attending the Oakland Community College Elite Camp, led by Coach Jon Djokaj. The elite camp focused on skill development and athlete performance.
Coach Djokaj brings extensive experience, emphasizing technique, strategy, and mental resilience in his coaching approach.
The camp offered rigorous practice sessions targeting specific skills like shooting, passing, ball movement and defense, enabling measurable improvements through concentrated drills.
Athletes engage in game-like situations that will prepare them for high level play and allow them to showcase their skills under pressure.
Coach Djokaj and his staff were very good at providing tailored feedback, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
Athletes were able meet diverse peers, coaches, and scouts, fostering valuable connections for collaboration and potential recruitment. This led to three players getting offers from OCC.
