Iowa United finished the game shooting 42% from the field (21–50) and a solid 38% from three-point range (6–16), while dominating the glass with a decisive 39–29 rebounding advantage. Arafan Diane was the difference-maker inside, posting a monster double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds, controlling the paint on both ends. Avery Huston matched him with 17 points of his own, adding six assists and six rebounds, while also knocking down 3-of-5 from deep. Tyran Frazier chipped in 12 points and helped steady the offense, as Iowa United consistently generated quality looks through ball movement and interior presence.
The St. James battled but struggled with efficiency, shooting just 31% from the floor (18–58) and 29% from three-point range (8–28). Jahda Swan led the way with 16 points and three assists, while Jacoby Briscoe added 12 points and eight rebounds. Despite forcing turnovers and competing defensively, The St. James couldn’t overcome missed shots and Iowa United’s dominance on the boards. Iowa United’s ability to control tempo, rebound at a high level, and get production from multiple contributors ultimately proved decisive in closing out a composed tournament win.
