Brewster Academy used balance, efficiency, and pace to secure a 69–59 win over Tennessee Collegiate Academy at the La Porte Invitational, closing strong after a competitive middle stretch. Brewster shot 47% from the field (27–58) and 36% from three (9–25), while also winning the fast-break battle 14–4 and getting consistent production across the lineup. Antonio Pemberton led all scorers with 23 points on an efficient 8-of-11 shooting, knocking down 4-of-6 from deep and adding six assists to pace the offense. Marcus Kerr added 16 points and eight rebounds, while Darien Moore chipped in 15 points and six rebounds as Brewster maintained control late with a 26-point fourth quarter.

Tennessee Collegiate Academy competed behind strong performances from Nate Miles and Mason Williams, who finished with 18 and 17 points respectively while combining for 15-of-23 shooting. Despite shooting a solid 46% from the floor (23–50), TCA struggled from beyond the arc (5–17, 29%) and left points at the line (8–15 FT), which proved costly down the stretch. Brewster’s edge in transition scoring, rebounding (32–28), and defensive pressure ultimately made the difference, allowing them to pull away in the final period and close out a composed tournament win.
